The Shocking Reason Your Flooring is Causing Knee Pain: My Natural Remedies Revealed

When your feet hurt, whether it's cracks, sores, or a burning sensation, there are many treatments available. I've shared several myself. But there’s one simple, overlooked factor that I believe is at the root of many of these problems: your sandals.

Think about it. We bathe every day. We clean our cars and our houses. But how often do we actually wash our sandals? Most of us just leave them outside, put them on to go out, and take them off again when we get home. Have you ever really cleaned them?

I've come to believe that if your sandals are clean, your feet will be healthy. And if your feet are healthy, your whole body will be healthy. For many people, the real cause of their tension, anger, and fear can be traced back to the simple fact that their footwear is not clean.

My advice is simple. Every day, either in the morning or evening, take the time to properly wash your sandals. Let them dry completely, and then wear them. You'll be amazed at how this single habit can prevent cracks and sores from ever appearing on your feet. It's a small act of cleanliness that has a huge impact.

The Hidden Danger in Your Home: Why Your Floor is Hurting Your Knees

Now, let's talk about joint pain. So many people ask me for a remedy for knee pain, and while there are countless treatments, I want to address something more fundamental: the floor you walk on every single day.

The type of flooring in your home is crucial. In my opinion, if you walk barefoot on granite or marble floors, you are guaranteed to develop knee pain. Why?

Think about where granite and marble come from. They are quarried in places like Rajasthan, a region known for its intense heat. People there use these stones to keep their homes cool. It makes sense for their environment. But in a place that isn't excessively hot, our bodies actually need a certain amount of warmth. Installing marble in a cool climate is, in my view, a recipe for disaster.

Here’s the principle I follow: whenever the sole of your foot touches a bare floor, especially a cold one like granite or marble, it will eventually lead to knee pain.

What Type of Flooring is Best?

So, what should you do? Listen, in the old days, nobody had knee pain like we do now. Why? Because they had simple cement floors. Stepping on a bare cement floor is fine. So is walking on a floor with red oxide coating. Even better is a natural mud floor. Placing your feet on the earth is incredibly healing.

Here is my ranking of flooring, from best to worst for your health:

  1. Mud/Earth: The healthiest option.

  2. Cement: Perfectly safe.

  3. Mosaic: Acceptable.

  4. Tiles: A little risky.

  5. Granite and Marble: Extremely dangerous for your joints.

If your home already has granite or marble, you don't have to break it. My advice is to cover it up. Use mats, lay down rugs, or find some stickers to cover the surface. At the very least, wear sandals, shoes, or socks inside the house. Do whatever you can to avoid direct contact between the soles of your feet and the bare floor. For those with knee pain, this is the first and most important step. If you don’t address the floor, no other treatment will be fully effective.

Simple and Powerful Remedies from My Kitchen

Beyond the big picture, here are a few other simple, powerful remedies I've collected over the years.

  • For Storing Spices: People often ask me what the best containers are for storing spices like rice, lentils, and cumin. My answer is always the same: glass. Glass containers are the best because they don't have a chemical reaction with the food inside. In any research lab, you'll see they use glass for this very reason. Storing food in plastic or even some metals can cause a chemical reaction that changes the nature of the food. In glass, your food stays pure and lasts longer.

  • For All Skin Diseases (Including Diabetic Wounds): This is a powerful remedy for any kind of skin issue, from psoriasis and eczema to non-healing wounds caused by diabetes.

    1. The Medicine: The medicine is a simple paste made from two ingredients: anthill mud and cabbage. Grind fresh cabbage in a stone grinder (not a mixer) and mix it with an equal amount of anthill mud.

    2. The Application: First, clean the affected area. I recommend using warm water with a little lemon juice squeezed into it. Gently wipe the area clean with a cotton cloth. Then, apply the mud and cabbage paste over the wound or rash. Leave it on for 30 minutes.

    3. The Cleansing: After 30 minutes, you must wash it off with slightly warm water, not cold water. Then, clean the area one more time with the warm lemon water.
If you do this for 30 days, I have seen even the most severe skin conditions, including diabetic wounds that refuse to heal, begin to recover. This simple natural remedy can help the skin regenerate and heal itself.

  • For General Body Pain: If you suffer from general body aches and pains, I suggest a simple juice made from cardamom and ginger. Just extract the juice from both, mix them together, and drink a small amount. It's a wonderful remedy for relieving body pain.

These are the kinds of simple treatments our ancestors knew and used. They are all around us. We just need to remember them and put them into practice to live a healthy, natural life.
